The Playstation 3 120GB Console

The Playstation 3 120GB is the 4th generation and is the newest in Sony’s line up of game consoles. It comes with a bunch of features that are available on the earlier Playstation’s but also comes with new advancements.

This model Playstation comes with the IBM "Cell" processor and a co-developed NVIDIA graphics processor as found in the other consoles, but the 120GB system
makes an improvement on this with a 45nm version of the processor which uses less energy. This allows for a smaller console and its quieter because of a smaller fan.

This system also has a HDMI port for better sound and image quality. You get excellent sound quality from the Dolby Digital 5.1 and the Linear PCM 7.1. The 12GB hard disc allows you to down load content from the internet and save games.

This console comes with Blu Ray disc media playability for the best HD viewing. It is also able to play all of the other format discs out there. You also have free access to the Playstation network for online game playing and downloading games among other things.

The controller that comes with this system is a Dualshock 3 wireless. You can feel each hit, crash and explosion and you feel the rumble in the palm of your hands. Also included with this console is a built-in Wi-Fi.

I have played on this new system and can say as a Playstation lover it looks great.
